A NOTICE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS REGARDING FINAL BILL INVOICES
We have been experiencing high-call volumes this week and apologize if you’ve inquired about this invoice topic. As we communicated to you by letter in late May, your account has transitioned to Discount Power and/ or Cirro Energy. This transition does not change anything about your contracted rate or service period. Discount Power and Cirro Energy now have the responsibility of servicing your contract.
When an account transitions to another provider, it causes the account to generate a Final Bill invoice from Texans Energy. The transition does not change your obligation to pay Texans Energy by the invoice due date. Accounts with unpaid balances will be sent to Collection agencies and all 3 credit agencies, potentially impacting your credit score.
In order to keep your account in good standing with Discount Power and Cirro Energy, we highly encourage payment of the Texans Energy invoice by the stated due date. Your next invoice will be sent in accordance to the same preference (US Mail, E-mail, or both) used by Texans Energy but instead will be sent by one of the providers above.
